Sigu is an international Afro-fusion artist who blends Nilotic cultural styles into his music. Performing solo or with The Kavirondo Blues Band, his artistry is rooted in a lineage of storytellers, poets, and musicians. He began singing at seven harmonizing with his aunts during church gatherings and community celebrations in the rolling hills of Nyabondo, Nyakach. He got mentored in his teens by his grandfather, Esau Sigu, to master composition, poetry, and guitar. An award-winning guitarist, his soulful voice captivates audiences.
